Grosse Pointers do most of their shopping locally, partly because
of the variety of shops nearby, but mostly because the merchandise is better suited to the area's needs and lifestyles. Whether it's clothing, furniture, food or home furnishings, the choices available are especially
notable for their quality. There are three large shopping districts, quality department store and several smaller groupings of stores, including specialty shops and restaurants.
In addition to chain supermarkets, there are excellent butchers, grocers and apothecaries who offer home delivery service. Together, they can satisfy any need. Just outside of the Pointes,
there's a major shopping center, as well. |
